Indian Motorcycle is America’s first motorcycle manufacturer. After bankruptcy in 1953 and more than half a century absence from American highways, Indian asked to resurrect this iconic brand — and reignite its rivalry with Harley Davidson.

We rebuilt Indian Motorcycle from the ground up. Driven by the insight that bikers felt their individuality being stripped, we paid respect to those who proudly stand apart — restoring the brand’s storied legitimacy at every touchpoint and racing it out from the shadow of Harley Davidson.
