Invisalign® clear aligners are designed to seamlessly fit into teens’ lives while fixing their smiles. But with Gen Z being the most ad-averse audience out there, we had to rethink how to show them there was a better option than braces to move them and their smile forward. Knowing how well both teens of both genders connect with sports, we decided to highlight the benefits of Invisalign using soccer through unexpected, exciting executions.
To demonstrate how easily Invisalign® treatment fits into teens’ lives, we created a documentary series called “Forwards.” After conducting a national search for two talented teen soccer players, we filmed five episodes featuring Lance and Kaya. We captured their stories, smile transformations, and soccer journeys leading up to Schwan’s USA CUP, one of the largest soccer tournaments in North America.
Custom designed gameplay made for realistic soccer action
We went to where teens are – their phones – and created a Snapchat soccer game. Using varying levels of difficulty to capture and maintain their attention, the experience drove teens to the Invisalign site and created fresh leads.
Using our library of footage, we created unique social assets to promote each episode. From GIFs to trailers, our content was placed on Bleacher Report, ESPN and Invisalign’s social channels to reach our teen audience.
