As one of the most desired vacation spots on earth, Jackson Hole was ready to welcome a record-setting number of visitors in 2020. But then, 2020 happened. When vacation plans were dashed, we began planning on how to bring the best of the last real mountain town experience to disappointed travelers. So, we inspired them with postcards. But instead of paper and ink, ours were augmented reality living postcards.
The living postcard experience offered users the choice of three unique Jackson Hole scenes.
Each environment was hand-crafted using 3D modeling to give each Jackson Hole moment a photo-realistic quality.
Iconic sights like the antler arches required the powers of photogrammetry, hundreds of reference visuals and new images shot on location to get every detail right.
Living postcards launched at the Seattle and Denver airports to remind travelers of all that awaits them in Jackson Hole.
