About Cub Cadet
As makers of the finest lawn equipment, Cub Cadet knows yards better than anyone. But its thirst for knowledge on all things grass-related knows no bounds. We wanted to understand homeowners and how they use their lawns even better so we could celebrate the ways they make their green spaces unique. A couple hundred survey questions, a few thousand people and 24 million data points all culminated in Cub Cadet’s first-ever Lawnual Report — the most in-depth study on the state of the yard to date.
To launch The Lawnual Report, we created a film outlining our year-long study as well as the type of findings people could expect to discover about mowing habits across the country.
The Lawnual Report landing page houses facts, figures and fun for the curious to dig into so they can discover the depth of love for our lawns.
24 million data points helped us develop innumerable permutations to gain unique insights into nearly anything lawn-related, from the clothes people wear while mowing, to the drinks they enjoy after cutting, to the music they spin as they tackle their tasks. All of which translated into interesting, and entertaining, data visuals.
