As face masks become more ubiquitous around the world, people are becoming more accepting of their many benefits beyond the pandemic. The new 3M Advanced Filtering Face Mask is a barrier face covering that is uniquely positioned to offer people airborne particulate filtration, comfort and proprietary 3M filtration technology. We created a lifestyle campaign to support a launch that highlights how you can elevate your air in crowded places, during travel or those everyday moments in life.
We partnered with award-winning animation house Nexus to create a heartwarming, universal story that demonstrates the utility, comfort and versatility of the 3M Advanced Filtering Face Mask through one dad’s heroic journey to rescue his daughter’s lost balloon.
By featuring the father character and facts about the 3M™ Advanced Filtering Face Mask, we illustrated the airborne particulate filtration and comfort that can be found by wearing the product.
As the world started opening back up again, people were hungry to travel. For the US launch we partnered with the leader in travel inspiration, Travel + Leisure, to co-create itineraries for the places people missed most during the pandemic. These itineraries organically showcased use cases for the 3M Advanced Filtering Face Mask and were placed throughout Travel + Leisure’s 50th anniversary issue and online.
