"Stay Wild" Campaign Promotes Jackson Hole

Jackson Hole Stay Wild

The Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board and ad agency Colle McVoy launched a new national marketing campaign today that targets new visitors across the country and also creates an inspiring movement that both visitors and residents can rally around. Called Stay Wild, the campaign and movement uniquely showcase the wild and authentic spirit of Jackson Hole, what makes it a special destination and the experiences people can have there that they won’t find anywhere else.

It’s a celebration of Jackson Hole’s beauty and ruggedness as well as our commitment to conservation and the people and places that make Jackson Hole, Jackson Hole.”

“Stay Wild was born out of the notion that Jackson Hole is the most unique mountain town there is, surrounded by public lands and open spaces that harbor the most abundant wildlife and recreational access to wild lands. As other ski resort destinations are consolidating, we remain fiercely independent,” said Kate Sollitt, executive director, Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism.

Numerous creative elements make up the campaign and invite travelers to escape to Jackson Hole and dare to keep things wild. A 90-second anthem video is at the center and pairs images of awe-inspiring natural beauty and exciting experiences with the rousing voiceover of Charlie Chaplin’s well-known speech from the movie The Great Dictator.

The creative embodies the spirit and ruggedness of Jackson Hole, and captures its people and Jackson Hole as a destination. We want to inspire people to visit and become part of an experience that is uniquely transformative and wild at heart.

The campaign elements include 90-, 30- and 15-second videos, a robust digital buy, a national print buy, an influencer program, two painted mural wall scapes in New York and San Francisco, and an experiential installation in the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport during the Super Bowl.
