SXSW Interactive kicks off this Friday, March 9, 2018, and Colle McVoy, Exponent and 10 Thousand Design will be there in force. The agency is helping Land O’Lakes host “The Food Effect” experience from March 9 to 11. Through a large-scale, immersive 360 experience in conjunction with National Geographic and Microsoft, the public can explore where their food comes from and the importance of feeding human progress. In addition to free programming on the most crucial issues, a 6,000-sq. ft. space has been tricked out with 3D installations and multimedia exhibits. This is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to spark an open, honest conversation about the startling truths of our food production system, as well as where food comes from today and in the future.
Maria Pazos, strategy director at Colle McVoy, will share the stage with Andrew Vrbas, client and founder of Pacha Soap Co., to present Don’t Launch a Product, Build a Brand on March 11 at the Hilton Austin Downtown. Geared toward the startup and tech sectors, the session will explain how brand building can be the “secret sauce” for long-term success, help brands shine in an overcrowded startup nation and be a magnet for venture capitalists. Brands are more than what they say, they are what they #MakeDoSay. Find more information at https://schedule.sxsw.com/2018/events/PP77827
