Colle McVoy today announced two changes to its senior leadership. Katie Anderson (formerly strategy director) has been promoted to director of insight and Jamie Moran (formerly account director) has assumed a new position at the agency, director of talent development.
As director of insight (a new title and evolved role at the agency), Anderson will lead the strategy team in fueling insight-driven creative that transforms business problems into human solutions.
“Strategy is broader than one department and defines where a brand should play and how it will win,” said Jim Silburn, president of Colle McVoy. “Insight drives this strategy and Katie is ideal to lead this approach for our clients.”
For almost 20 years, Anderson has been blending the art and science of consumer and market insights to drive business growth. She is a brand strategist with cross-discipline marketing experience consulting with top marketers on positioning, creative communications and media planning. Anderson has played a key role in strategy development on both the agency and client-side for brands such as Betty Crocker, Bisquick, Caribou Coffee, Chex Mix, Cost Cutters, Downy, Famous Footwear, Febreeze, Healthy Choice, Herbal Essence, Kmart, Land O'Lakes, Nature Valley, Olay, Pantene and Purina Animal Nutrition, as well as other products for Procter & Gamble Europe.
As director of talent development, Moran will play an instrumental role in enhancing the agency’s commitment to employee engagement and development.

In addition to her role as account director for the last three years, Moran has headed the agency’s “Grow Our People” team, which provides a variety of programs that foster an environment where employees can do their career-best work. She has provided strategic leadership and helped transform business with numerous clients, including Land O’Lakes Dairy Foods, Explore Minnesota Tourism, Bikes Belong, Schell's Brewing Co., Kiehl’s and New Holland. Most recently, her leadership on the Land O’Lakes account helped evolve the more than 90-year-old brand and create relevance for a new generation of moms through digital thought leadership.
