Christine Fruechte, President & CEO

Industry leader, nationally recognized visionary and daughter of a psychic entertainer (seriously), Christine knows that the best way to predict the future is to create it.

Since joining C+M in 2004, she has spearheaded the agency’s tremendous growth and transformation by adding great diversity to our client roster and helping C+M evolve into a fully integrated, digitally driven agency. And while agency billings have increased year over year for the last eight years, what is more important is that the agency’s clients are achieving record-setting results.

Prior to C+M, Christine worked for Campbell Mithun, DDB Honolulu and Preston Kelly in Minneapolis. She developed integrated campaigns for clients that include Caribou Coffee, Coca-Cola, Domino’s, General Mills, ESPN, Indian Motorcycle, Johnson & Johnson, Johnsonville, Land O’Lakes, McDonald’s, Nestlé Purina, Revlon, Schwinn, Starwood Hotels, Taco John’s and Yahoo!, among others.

Christine has earned numerous awards: Effies, Webbys and even an Emmy Award. She was featured in The New York Times Corner Office column offering her insights about leadership and management. She has been recognized by Ad Age in its annual “Women to Watch” report, which honors the most innovative women in the world of advertising, marketing and media. And Christine's published articles include an agency transformation article in Ad Age, a leveraging the ever-evolving technology landscape post for The Huffington Post and an op-ed piece in the Minneapolis Star Tribune about how biking can help a company's bottom line. Basically, what we’re saying is, you don’t have to be a psychic to know that when Christine is around, the future looks bright.

Mike Caguin, Chief Creative Officer

Mike not only has the responsibility of overseeing C+M’s creative output, he also has a difficult last name to pronounce (Kah-ghin.) So, to make life easier, he surrounds himself with a diverse group of creative thinkers, inventors and craftspeople driven to create standout work that delivers standout results. It’s this talent that has allowed C+M to be consistently recognized both nationally and internationally in the industry’s most revered award shows, including The Webbys, The One Show, Communication Arts, Cannes, Graphis, AIGA and the Effies.

Prior to becoming C+M’s creative leader, Mike made things happen at shops large and small from coast to coast, including Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners and TBWAChiatDay. His client experience includes Allianz Life, BMW MINI, Detroit Pistons, Infiniti, Inter-Continental Hotels, Minnesota Wild, Nissan and Sun Microsystems. Oh, and let’s not forget every account at C+M. But just in case that’s not enough accomplishment for you, last fall he took on a full-distance Ironman triathlon. Just to see if he could do it. Shocker. He did it.

Lisa Miller, Chief Financial Officer

Lisa manages our company finances and infrastructure to create a marvelous experience for our employees. She makes sure all details are taken care of so that employees enjoy a safe, productive and financially rewarding workplace, and clients work with a smooth, efficient finance process. And she’s pretty good at it. In fact, Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal named Lisa CFO of the Year.

When she’s not busy working with the numbers, she’s keeping the agency organized, planning parties and helping out where needed. Prior to joining Colle+McVoy, Lisa was partner at LarsonAllen, CPAs where she was in charge of the St. Paul office.

When not working, you’ll find her rollerblading, gardening or cheering madly at a sporting event. She remembers every phone number she’s ever had, but often gets her kids’ names mixed up. She still has her horse saddle from her barrel racing days and plans to put it back in use when she retires to her hobby farm.

Tom Lindell, Managing Director, Exponent PR

Tom manages Exponent, C+M’s fast-growing PR shop, while collaborating with the agency to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of public/consumer awareness and credibility. Over the course of his 20-year career, Tom has helped build a variety of high-profile brands such as Nestlé Purina, Caribou Coffee, Maytag Appliances, Novartis, General Mills, Muir Glen, 7-Eleven and American Standard. Under Tom’s leadership, Exponent has earned a reputation for mobilizing influential audiences. The shop’s success has led to widespread industry recognition, including more than three dozen PRSA Anvil Awards and SABRE Awards.

For family vacations, Tom believes that the most magical place to be isn’t in Orlando, Florida, but rather spending time right here on a Minnesota lake.

Tom's thoughts on guerilla marketing and Fashion Week were recently featured in The New York Times.

Eric Husband, Executive Creative Director

Eric began his career on the account side of the advertising world. But we are thankful that he quickly discovered the creative side of the hallway, where his true talents lie.

Since making the jump, Eric has drawn upon his well-rounded experience to create award-winning campaigns for brands such as BMW MINI, Aveda, Caribou Coffee, Sun Microsystems, Nestlé Purina and Schell's Brewing Co. Along the way he has picked up every color of Effie award available.

His work, crossing all platforms from digital to outdoor, has not only been honored by virtually every award show in the industry, it’s also landed on the home pages of Mashable and FastCompany, appeared on ESPN’s Play of the Day and been enthusiastically discussed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Oh, and let’s not forget his work for MINI, which was named the year’s best print campaign by the Magazine Publishers of America’s Kelly Awards in 2007.

Eric has three girls (two of them identical twins) and two very large mutts. He’s been a snowboarder since ’87, owns a Vespa scooter from ’66 and hasn’t eaten butter since ’74 (due to a butter-related accident as a toddler). Don’t ask.

Ed Bennett, Director of Design

For the last 10 years, Ed has transformed the design division at C+M into one of the most prominent in the country. He’s helped bring about this change by living by two simple rules: never run out of ideas and have an amazing smile. Check and check.
Ed has an incredible breadth and depth of design expertise stemming from his experience with brands such as Nikon, ESPN, Jim Beam, Red Wing Shoes, Field & Stream, Lee Jeans, Johnson & Johnson and Caribou Coffee.

Ed and his talented stable of designers have received national and international design recognition for their work, including awards from AIGA, The One Show, D&AD and the Effies, as well as coverage by esteemed international publications like Graphis, Print, Creativity and Communication Arts.

Nicole Pomerleau, Director of Media

Nicole Pomerleau is a pop culture junkie who can’t decide whether she picked media or media picked her. Either way, she is responsible for all media planning and buying activities, as well as guiding expertise on new and emerging media strategies. Her passion for ideas and modern media has translated into a career that has taken her from Minneapolis to San Francisco to London. Along the way, Nicole has graced the halls of Fallon, FCB, McCann and Grey working on blue chip brands, including Bravo, Escada, Microsoft, Dunhill, Holiday Inn & Express, Lacoste, Levi Strauss & Co., the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and USA Network.

As our licensed, bonded and certified media expert, Nicole encourages inspiration through collaboration and believes the best media ideas come from building, not buying. And her desire for creative, innovative media knows no bounds. But her boundlessness doesn’t stop in the media world. In fact, it doesn’t stop. Just ask her about the near-death experience she had in Thailand on the Mekong River. It involves very fast boats. It’s awesome.

Jamie Moran, Account Director

While at Colle+McVoy, Jamie has provided strategic leadership on Land O’Lakes Dairy Foods, Explore Minnesota Tourism, Bikes Belong, Schell's Brewing Co., Kiehl’s and New Holland (just to name a few).

When she’s not leading cross-functional teams, she heads up the Grow People platform for the agency. What does that mean? Good question. It means she helps foster an environment at Colle+McVoy where employees can do their career-best work. From new employee training and mentorship to continuing education programs, performance reviews and everything imaginable to help the people of C+M grow into the best ad men and ad women in the ad industry.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find Jamie and her husband growing a couple of, shall we say, “spirited” Irish boys in the oh-so-lovely rural suburb of Rockford, Minnesota. Speaking of rural living, Jamie is a Wyoming native who often attributes her experience growing up on a ranch in the wild, wild west as a primary reason she’s able to navigate the always-changing world of marketing communications. Hi-Yah!
